I’m a Mechanical Engineer, in which I hold a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate and New Harvest fellow at the Biomaterials lab at the University of Vermont where I am tissue engineering scaffolds for cultured meat. 

Previously, I studied at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey for my bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Cloquet Senior High School in Minnesota during my foreign exchange year. My hometown is in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Apart from all things science, I love finding new ways to stay fit, trying out new recipes, and mentoring students aspiring to study in internationally renowned universities for free.
